By Train:
From Rome, take any Rome-Naples train. Once in Naples take the Circumvesuviana train that runs frequently (approximately every 30 minutes between 05:00 and 22:30) from Naples to Sorrento. The journey takes about one hour, and costs circa EURO 3.50 per person.
By Bus:
From Rome you can take the bus that leaves from Rome Tiburtina Bus Terminal at 15:00 (only on workdays) and arrives in Sorrento at 18:45, the cost is EURO 15.50 per person. (There is also a bus leaving at 7.00 a.m. only on Fri, Sat and Sun)
By Air:
From Naples Capodichino Airport there is a bus to Sorrento. The journey takes about one hour and costs approximately EURO 5.00 per person.

From Sorrento (Piazza Tasso) to Naples Airport: 06:45 - 08:30 - 10:30 - 12:00 - 14:00 - 16:30
